## Questions about the calendar {#faq-h}

**What does each kind of date mean?**

When the official source announces its next release, we show that month or day and update the dataset soon after. When it does not, we show the latest day we promise to have re-read the source: the last check plus the time limit we set for that dataset.

**What if a source runs late?**

We re-read the source on the latest day even if its release slips, and every dataset shows the date of its last check. A changed date shows up on this calendar the next time the site is built.

**How do I hear about changes?**

Subscribe to the calendar (.ics), or follow the confirmed-changes feed and the corrections log; the links are on the data page.
