The Exhibit is a monthly study of public legal-marketing data. Each one is a single chart and a single finding, with its method, its sources and the date the data was captured, so anyone can check it.
What each Exhibit contains
- One question, such as how many firms run Spanish search ads in a metro, or how listed Local Services hours compare across a market.
- One chart, with the data table beneath it.
- The method: what was captured, where, when and how, so the study can be repeated.
- The sources: public data only, such as the Google Ads Transparency Center, public search results, Local Services listings and Census language data (Census ACS 2024).
- The limits: what the data can’t show.
The rules
- Public data only. No client’s data, bids or results, ever.
- No firm singled out. Findings describe markets, not named competitors.
- Dated and corrected in public. Every Exhibit carries its capture date; errors are corrected on the page.
- Free to cite, with credit and a link.
