Terms of use

The terms for using probativegrowth.com: no legal advice, no attorney-client relationship, how you may use our content, and our limits.

Updated October 24, 2026

Effective date: October 24, 2026. These terms govern your use of probativegrowth.com. By using the site, you agree to them. Our services to law firms are governed by a separate signed agreement, not by these terms.

1. Who we are

This site is operated by Probative (“we,” “us”). Probative LLC, a California limited liability company, is being formed; once it is, it is the party to these terms. Contact: hello@probativegrowth.com.

Probative is a marketing firm, not a law firm or lawyer referral service. Nothing on this site is legal advice. Summaries of lawyer-advertising rules, platform policies and other laws are general information, may be out of date, and aren’t a substitute for advice from your own counsel and your state bar. Using this site, or contacting us, creates no attorney-client relationship with anyone.

3. No guarantees

Examples on this site labeled ILLUSTRATIVE are invented to show a format. Work our founder has led outside Probative is described as such and doesn’t predict future results. We don’t promise any ranking, lead, case, AI mention or return on ad spend.

4. Using our content

  • Site content (text, design, charts and code) belongs to Probative or its licensors. You may read, print and share links to it for your own business use. You may not copy it at scale, republish it as your own, or use it to train or build a competing product.
  • The Probative Standard is published under its own licenses: the text under Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivatives 4.0 (CC BY-ND 4.0) and its templates under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0). Claims that a report follows the Standard must meet its published conformance policy.
  • Our names, including “Probative” and “The Probative Standard,” aren’t licensed for any use that suggests we approve, certify or endorse anything.

5. Acceptable use

Don’t use the site to break the law, send spam or malware, probe or overload our systems, scrape it in ways that strain the service, or submit anyone else’s information without permission. Don’t send us details of any legal matter through our forms.

6. Forms and the waitlist

While booking is closed, our forms add you to a waitlist. Joining it doesn’t create a contract or reserve a service. Our privacy policy explains how we handle what you send.

We link to official sources and other sites so you can check our facts. We don’t control them and aren’t responsible for their content.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The site is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We work to keep facts current and correct them when we find errors, as our editorial policy explains.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, Probative isn’t liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, and our total liability for any claim about the site is limited to one hundred US dollars. Some places don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

10. Indemnity

If you misuse the site or break these terms, you agree to cover the reasonable costs that misuse causes us, to the extent the law allows.

11. Governing law

California law governs these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes about the site are resolved in the state or federal courts of California, unless a signed agreement between us says otherwise.

12. Changes

We may update these terms, and we date every change at the top of this page. Using the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
