Effective date: October 24, 2026. This policy explains what probativegrowth.com collects, why, who receives it and what you can do about it. It covers this website and our forms. It doesn’t cover data our clients share with us under a contract, which is governed by that contract’s data-processing terms.
Who we are
This site is operated by Probative (“we,” “us”). Probative LLC, a California limited liability company, is being formed; once it is, it is the business responsible for this site, and this page will say so. Contact: privacy@probativegrowth.com.
What we collect, and where it comes from
| Source | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Our forms (waitlist, free review, AI check, study) | Your name, work email, role, firm name and website, practice area, metro and languages served; optionally a phone number, an ad-spend range and how you heard about us | To prepare what you asked for, reply to you, and tell you once when booking opens |
| Form security | Signals Cloudflare Turnstile uses to tell people from bots, such as your browser’s response to a challenge | To keep spam out of our forms |
| Site use | Aggregate page views and performance, through Cloudflare Web Analytics | To see which pages are useful and keep the site fast |
| Server and security logs | Your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, as any web server records | To run and protect the site |
We don’t ask for, and our forms don’t accept, details of anyone’s legal matter. Please don’t send us any.
Cookies and tags
- No advertising or tracking cookies, and no advertising tags. We don’t run Google Analytics, ad pixels, session replay or chat widgets on this site.
- Cloudflare Web Analytics measures visits without collecting visitors’ personal data, according to Cloudflare (Cloudflare).
- Cloudflare Turnstile checks that a form is filled in by a person. Cloudflare says it processes only the data strictly necessary for that security function and doesn’t read form entries (Cloudflare).
- Where you came from, only if you write to us. Your browser keeps the first page you opened, the site that linked you here and any campaign tags in that link (utm_…) for this tab only, with no cookie. They are sent to us only with a form you choose to send, so we know which page or guide was useful. Nothing else from the link is kept.
- If we ever add a tag that needs consent, we will ask first, offer “Reject all” as plainly as “Accept all,” and treat Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals as “Reject all.”
How we respond to Do Not Track
California asks sites to say how they respond to Do Not Track signals (B&P §22575). Because we run no tracking across sites, nothing changes when your browser sends one; we also treat it, and Global Privacy Control, as a refusal of any optional tags.
Who receives your information
Service providers only, under contracts that limit them to providing their service to us:
- Cloudflare, which hosts the site, runs our form endpoint and database, routes our email, and provides Turnstile and Web Analytics.
- Our email provider, which receives form submissions forwarded to our inbox.
- AI tools under business terms, which may help us prepare a free review or AI check from public information about your firm. They run under terms that bar training on our data, and a person reviews everything before it’s sent.
We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, to protect our rights or others’ safety, or as part of a sale of the business, under this policy.
How long we keep it
- Form submissions and related emails: 24 months after our last contact with you, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
- Waitlist entries: until booking opens and we’ve written to you, then under the rule above.
- Security logs: as briefly as running the site allows.
- Opt-out records: as long as needed to honor them.
Your choices and rights
California law gives residents rights over their personal information, and the CCPA applies to businesses above set thresholds (CPPA). We may not meet those thresholds, but we honor these rights for anyone who asks:
- Know and access: what we hold about you, where it came from and who received it.
- Correct anything that’s wrong.
- Delete your information.
- Opt out of any sale or sharing; we do neither, but you can ask anyway.
- Limit use of sensitive information; our forms don’t collect any.
- No retaliation for using any of these rights.
Email privacy@probativegrowth.com. We may ask you to confirm your identity, usually by replying from the email address we have. An authorized agent may ask for you with your written permission. We answer within 30 days.
Children
This site is for law firms and isn’t directed to anyone under 16. We don’t knowingly collect their information.
Security
We protect information with access limited to people who need it, multi-factor sign-in on our accounts, and encryption in transit. No system is perfectly secure; if an incident affects your information, we’ll tell you as the law requires.
Changes
We date every change to this policy at the top of the page. Material changes are announced on this page before they take effect.
