What does this mean for your firm?
- Spanish pages are a minority feature. Roughly one website in 11 shows them, so a firm with real Spanish-language pages stands out in most states; in the lowest third of states in the last table there are the fewest such websites for each resident in need.
- Booking and chat are still uncommon. A website that lets a visitor book a consultation or start a chat is doing something most of its competitors do not, in every state shown.
- Structured data is a quick check. LegalService or Attorney markup and review markup are on a minority of websites; ask your web team whether yours is.
How was this made?
A polite crawler (robots.txt obeyed, a few public pages per website) read 1,101,164 candidate law-firm websites from 2026-10-28 to 2026-10-30. 123,823 were confirmed as US law-firm websites and are measured here; each is placed in the state of the first office address found on it (98,454 websites with a state). Yes/no facts (Spanish-language pages, booking tool, chat tool, structured data, review markup, HTTPS, a 24/7 intake statement) were extracted from the pages; shares are computed from counts. Spanish-speaking demand is the American Community Survey 2020-2024 estimate of residents who speak Spanish at home and speak English less than very well, from the legal-need dataset. A second script recomputes every figure from the same files, and 20 random websites were checked by hand against their raw crawl records. No firm, person or address is named.
